October 24, 2011

He found this vest in his house and put it on in honor of his brother Paul.
Family,
(Answers to my question listed below) We see our zone every Tuesday but really we only meet with them every once in a while. But I think it should be more because we got to get some stuff worked out. We get to work with the youth absolutely. It is a lot of fun. We need to have about 90 members consistently attending to have our own building. But our goal before December 1 is 100. If we can’t reactivate the others we will just have to baptize new ones :)
No my mp3 is chill. Sometimes I would like some more tunes but no it´s all good. I will ask my companion he has some good music. I would like the ensign in English. They give us the Spanish copies so no need to send it in Spanish. If we feel safe.. Ummm ya I feel pretty good. I don’t carry a fake wallet because I don’t even carry a real wallet ha-ha.

What a sweet week it was. So many awesome things have happened. The first two weeks here in Palmira were all just preps to the week we had. I knew we were going to do good this week and the lord put the things in place so we could work. We had a lot of new faces in the church This week. We won’t have baptisms until the 12th of November. This day we have planned a white night. Where the whole zone brings their converts to the same chapel and we baptize many. It is awesome because there are so many people in white. The president of the mission says he will come which gets me all jacked up. When we got here and made these plans we put out the number that we are going to finish with this month of November and now we are just working to invite people to come unto Christ. If all goes to plan the 12th of November we will take 7 people to the white night and all the other missionaries invest. also. I am so excited sometimes I can’t even study cause I just want to get out of the house.
I feel like maybe this letter was a little different and it was just a lot of my thoughts written down. I love this work and I am happy here in Palmira. I am excited for the 12th of November.
We had a powerful experience with a lady named Gracie. Gracie had had a really hard time in life but she listened to us even though she doesn´t believe in god. We testified and the spirit was there. She read the book of Mormon, she prayed, and she felt it. It was so special. She will be baptized on the 12th. She has changed a lot in just a week and she came to church on Sunday. I feel the happiness in the work. I love you all Elder Belnap
